New Weymouth Library Will Remain at Weston Park
Libby Field will not be the new home of the library.

WEYMOUTH, MA — The new Tufts Library will remain at Weston Park, town officials said.
Mayor Robert Hedlund and Nick Bulens, a town administrative coordinator, told the Weymouth News that poor ground conditions at Libby Field means that the new library will not change locations.
Hedlund called it not a huge surprise, calling the current location sensible because it can be reached by pathway through Weston from Washington Street and the Weymouth Landing is in walking distance.
