Officers Receive Award for Heroic Response to Weymouth Fire
Officers Brian Healy and Stephen Goslin received the Robert P. Dana Distinguished Service Award for Law Enforcement.

WEYMOUTH, MA — Two officers were honored their week for their response to a fire at an apartment complex.
Officers Brian Healy and Stephen Goslin received the Robert P. Dana Distinguished Service Award for Law Enforcement during Law Day at Quincy District Court.
In the early morning hours of May 3, 2016, Goslin and Healy were the first on the scene of a structure fire in the Queen Anne’s Apartment Complex. Upon arrival, they found the building to be on fire and filling with heavy smoke. Lacking fire-fighting protective equipment both officers without hesitation entered the building to alert the residents and assist in the evacuation of the building. Healy carried a disabled resident in his wheelchair to safety while Goslin repeatedly entered the building to ensure no residents were still inside.
