One Finalist Named for Weymouth Superintendent Opening

WEYMOUTH, MA - One person has been recommended to become Weymouth's new superintendent of schools.
Assistant Superintendent Jennifer Curtis-Whipple was chosen by the superintendent search committee as the only finalist for the position, according to WATD.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Curtis-Whipple came to Weymouth in 1995 as a teacher. In 2010, she was promoted to principal of the Academy Avenue Primary School.
In 2014, she was named the assistant superintendent.

Current Superintendent Kenneth Salim is leaving after this school year to take the same position in Cambridge.
