Parents Group to Hold Forum for School Committee Candidates

A group of Weymouth parents will hold a forum for candidates running for school committee.

On Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m., The Weymouth Town-Wide Parent Council invites residents to attend the forum at the Mary Jo Livingstone Humanities Center at Weymouth High School.

This year, Tracey Nardone and Gail Sheehan are running for reelection while Matthew Bryer, Scott Kettell, and John Sullivan are first-time candidates.

Three seats are up for election. Due to chairman Sean Guilfoyle’s decision to run for mayor, there will be at least one new face on the board this fall.
