Weymouth Commuter Rail Victim Dies
A young woman struck by a train Friday morning has died.

WEYMOUTH, MA – A young woman struck by a Commuter Rail train in South Weymouth Friday morning has died, according to Transit Police. The victim, approximately 23 years old, was hit by an outbound train around 9:20 a.m.
The MBTA said the woman was "trespassing" on the right-of-way.
Passengers on the Kingston/Plymouth line will be bused in both directions and trains are expected to be delayed.

Transit Police detectives and the Norfolk County District Attorney's office are investigating the incident. Foul play is not suspected.
