WEYMOUTH, MA — An 18-year-old girl who was found bound by duct tape in a ravine near the highway Wednesday night admitted to police that she was not assaulted.

At about 8 p.m., police received a 911 call from the girl asking for help. Police say they were able to locate the girl near a ravine between the Route 3 ramp and Main Street by using their sirens and calling out for her. She was taken to the hospital.

Police say they spoke to her for several hours, but her story was vague and she didn't fully cooperate. The teen told police that he was given a ride by a man and then dropped off in the area where she was located. She also spoke to investigators about meeting different men on an online website.
