Police Log: Shoplifting, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and More

The following is from the Weymouth Police Log. Arrests and charges do not imply conviction.

February 22

7:45 p.m. - Gail Marie Dellamano, 52, of North Easton, was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop at the intersection of Pleasant and Washington Streets.

8:43 p.m. - Reginald Carter, 40, of Boston, was arrested during a traffic stop at the Main Street overpass and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and possession of marijuana. Carter also had an active warrant.

February 23

10:42 a.m. - Daryl Mottram, 32, of Weymouth, was arrested on Grove Street on a straight warrant.

February 24

1:58 p.m. - Matthew Campbell, 61, of Abington, was arrested on Hollis Street on a warrant.

2:46 p.m. - Laurie Straub, 26, of Quincy, was arrested at CVS on Bridge Street and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

3:58 p.m. - David Herbert, 49, of Weymouth, was arrested at Stop & Shop on Middle Street and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

February 25

1:46 a.m. - George Bush Jr., 32, of Quincy, was arrested on Fern Court and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon, and malicious destruction of property over $250.

11:24 a.m. - Richard Viola, 33, homeless, was arrested at Wal-Mart on Middle Street and charged with shoplifting by asportation, third offense.

1:08 p.m. - Robert Sweeney, 18, of Weymouth, was arrested at Citgo on Broad Street and charged with threatening to commit a crime, discharging a BB gun, and four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.

2:42 p.m. - Gina Spada, 28, of Weymouth, was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop on River Street.

5:57 p.m. - Brianna Travers, 26, of Carver and Stephen Schelle, 24, of Weymouth, were arrested at Stop and Shop on Middle Street on warrants.
