Police Officer Injured in Weymouth Motorcycle Crash
At around 1 p.m., police responded to a crash on Route 18.

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Marshfield police officer was injured following a motorcycle crash in Weymouth.
At around 1 p.m., police responded to the crash on Route 18. The operator has been transported to the hospital, according to state police. Marshfield police confirmed that two officers were traveling to Randolph to assist with the wake of Watertown firefighter Joseph Toscano when one of them lost control of their bike on the onramp to Route 3 North and lost consciousness.
The officer was transported to South Shore Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to fully recover.
