After police yelled to wake up him, officers discovered 13 gabapentin pills in latex gloves. Galvin was taken into custody after failing multiple sobriety tests.

Galvin’s defense attorney said his client has a prescription for the pills but did not have the script on him. He also noted that Galvin is a Marine veteran who is often accompanied by a service dog and is attempting to get services from the VA.
