Police say one vehicle was hit with such force that it landed on top of another. After hitting several cars, Mr. Broadbent began revving the engine to try to back up, but his vehicle was stuck. Residents in the area then smashed the passenger window, put the car in park, and removed the keys from the ignition.

Broadbent was taken into custody after failing a field sobriety test. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Quincy District Court Monday morning.
