Quincy Named Fifth Healthiest Place to Live in Country

QUINCY, MA — Congratulations Quincy, you're one of the healthiest places in the country, according to a new report.

In Money Magazine's list of the healthiest places to live, the City of Presidents comes in at fifth. Highlands Ranch, Colo. took the top spot.

"The Old Colony state, including its Quincy residents, have the fewest diabetes-related deaths nationwide. Pretty sweet, huh?" the magazine wrote.

To come up with their rankings, Money Magazine looked at the number of doctors and hospitals within a 30-mile radius of communities, along with the percentage of residents covered by health insurance. The number of residents who reported that they feel healthy and various basic factors were also considered.
