Quincy Woman Charged with Snorting Drugs at Weymouth Beach

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Quincy woman snorted Adderall while at Lane Beach last weekend, police said.

Therese M. Brassil, 45, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug and two counts of possession of a Class E drug. She also had an active warrant, according to the Patriot Ledger.

On Aug. 21 at about 11:48 a.m., police responded to a report of a woman who had used a dollar bill to snort something at the beach. When police arrived, they allegedly found a Suboxone dissolvable film strip and two other prescription medications. Brassil said he had a prescription for Suboxone but was unable to provide one.

Brassil was arraigned in Quincy District Court Monday and is due back on Oct. 18.
