Roof at Weymouth Church Collapses

A church in Weymouth experienced a roof collapse on Sunday afternoon.

Around 3 p.m., a portion of the roof at the Old South Union Church collapsed, only hours after the room was occupied with children attending Sunday School. There were no injures from the collapse according to WHDH.

The recent barrage of bad weather is being blamed for the collapse, with nearly four feet of snow sitting on portions of the roof.
