It won’t be long after Thanksgiving is over that shoppers will be lining up at the Derby Street Shoppes for one of the biggest shopping days of the year.
A large crowd is expected when stores at the mall open their doors early Friday with more people likely to start their holiday shopping over the weekend.

To help you get ready for Black Friday and the weekend at the shoppes here is what you need to know:
Hours

Most stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Kohl’s will open at 1 a.m., the Paper Store at 6:30 a.m., and Talbots at 7 a.m.
The Sales
All Black Friday and holiday sales can be found on the Derby Street Shoppes’ website.
Santa is Coming!
Santa Claus is coming to Hingham with Mrs. Claus on Dec 1. Through Dec. 22 from 6 - 8 p.m., the two will be strolling around the shopping center along with Victorian carolers. On the weekend through Dec. 20, Mr. and Mrs. Clause can be found from noon to 4 p.m. with the Victorian carolers singing from 4 - 6 p.m.
Small Business Saturday!
The day after Black Friday will be Small Business Saturday. Anyone who visits one of the mall’s small businesses and shares a selfie on social media with the tag #ShopSmallDerby can win a Derby Street Shoppes gift card.
Small businesses at the shoppes include B.Good, Burtons Grill, Carousel Kids, Company C, Greater Boston Running Company, Lunette Optic, MiniLuxe, Rustic Kitchen, Setting the Space, Shoe Market, Tobey Grey, and Whites Bakery.
