Snapping Turtle Rescued from Weymouth Pool
A snapping turtle somehow made its way into a backyard pool in Weymouth.
That’s not a place for you to swim, young man.
The Animal Rescue League of Boston responded to a call about a snapping turtle hanging out in a backyard pool in Weymouth on June 9.
When the rescue team arrived, neighborhood children told technician Danielle Genter about a stream located nearby. The kids brought Genter to the stream, and she released the snapping turtle to it without incident.
