South Shore Hospital Offers Bereavement Support

Hospice of the South Shore, a program of South Shore Hospital is offering the following bereavement support groups:

Newly-Bereaved Support Group

Support group for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one in the last 4 months. This small group is designed to provide support, education and information about the grieving process, as well as a safe place to share your story with others.  Pre-registration is required. The group meets 6:30 – 8 p.m. for six weeks and begins Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Bereaved Widows, Widowers and Partners Support Group

This ongoing support group is for adults who have lost a spouse or partner.  Pre-registration is required and meetings are held on Mondays from noon -1:30 p.m.

All programs are free and open to both Hospice of the South Shore families and the public. The South Shore Hospital Home Care Division offices are located at 30 Reservoir Park Drive, in Rockland.
