Stabbing Victim Waited 12 Hours Before Getting Help: Police

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth man who was stabbed waited for over 12 hours before calling for help, police said.

At 10:30 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a report of a man who wasstabbed around 10 p.m. Saturday night on Sanders Street. The Patriot Ledger reports that the man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the man was stabbed during a fight and the victim is not giving up the name of the person who stabbed him.

An arrest has not been made.
