WEYMOUTH, MA — The state will pay for boiler replacements at two Weymouth Schools.

Friday, the Massachusetts School Building Authority accepted Wessagusset and Hamilton Elementary Schools into its accelerated repair program which focuses on small-scale repairs and replacements, according to the Patriot Ledger.

That means funds to replace 47-year-old boilers at both schools. The combined projected cost is about $1.3 million, with the state promising a 50 percent reimbursement.
