Sullivan Tire Opens Second Weymouth Location

Sullivan Tire opened its newest location in Weymouth this week, becoming the second Sullivan Tire store in Weymouth and the sixty-seventh location in New England for the Norwell-based company.

The new store is located at 462-464 Washington Street.  The building was formerly occupied by Midas and was completely renovated by Sullivan Tire before opening on October 7.  The 6,750 square foot facility houses eight service bays.  It will be staffed by up to twelve full-time employees, including two Master Technicians.

Sean Galiano, a Master Technician and 23-year veteran of Sullivan Tire, has been named Manager of the store.  Galiano resides in Weymouth with his wife and son, where they are active members of the community.  Sean serves on the Weymouth High School Advisory Committee and his son is a Weymouth Wildcat Football player.

“I’m thrilled to take on this new role and to work in the community where my family lives,” said Galiano.  “Sullivan Tire is a family owned business whose motto is to treat every customer as if they were a member of your family.  For me, it will be especially rewarding to serve the family of Weymouth and to see so many familiar faces on a day to day basis.”

A grand opening celebration is planned for Saturday, October 19 from 11 AM – 2 PM.  Customers are invited to visit the store, enjoy refreshments and giveaways, and enter to win Boston Bruins tickets and a hockey stick signed by Bruins defenseman Gregory Campbell.  There will also be special discounts on tires.
