Surprise! Weymouth Woman Gives Birth Hour After Discovering Pregnancy
A woman gave birth at South Shore Hospital an hour after being told that she was pregnant.

A Weymouth woman got a little more than she expected on Tuesday when a trip to the hospital for stomach pain was really the start of a surprise delivery.
Katherine Kropas was told that she was pregnant when the went to South Shore Hospital on Tuesday and only one hour later, she was the mother of a baby girl, according to WCVB.
The new mother told NECN that she did not experience any morning sickness or any of the usual signs of pregnancy over the past nine months aside from swollen feet, which she thought was due to working over 50 hours a week as a caterer.

Currently, Kropas has not decided on a name for her baby but is considering Elie after the grandmother who gave her a ride to the hospital for what she thought was stomach pains.
