WEYMOUTH, MA — The man who police say killed his ex-girlfriend is now among the state's most wanted.

Cornel Bell, 46, is one of six people recently added to the Massachusetts State Police's most wanted fugitives list. He is wanted for the murder of Weymouth resident Michele Clarke and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

On Aug. 19 at about 4 a.m., a friend of Clarke called Weymouth police and expressed concerns for her safety. Police responding to Clarke's Lake Street apartment found her dead with obvious wounds. Police believe that after harassing Clarke at work, Bell went to the victim's home where he killed her in a confrontation.
