Swerving Car Leads to Heroin Arrest: Police

WEYMOUTH, MA - A swerving vehicle resulted in drug charges for a Hanson woman, police said.

Jennifer Matiyosus, 39, was arrested Wednesday afternoon on Route 18, according to the Patriot Ledger. She faces charges of possession with intent to distribute heroin, operating under the influence of drugs, operating to endanger and marked lanes violation.

At about 3:07 p.m., police received reports of an erratic driver on Route 18. An officer who saw the vehicle swerving stopped the vehicle on Main Street.

Matiyosus told police she was texting while driving, but a police report says her pupils were constricted and she had needle marks on her arm.

Police allegedly found 30 packets of heroin in the car.
