Three Charged With Threatening to Shoot Weymouth Minor on Facebook Live

Police say the three told the victim on video that they were going to shoot him.

WEYMOUTH, MA — Three Boston men who allegedly threatened to shoot a person in a Facebook Live video were ordered held by a judge Wednesday morning.

Kedersen Michel Jr., 19, Hyde Park Jonathan Bonner-Minus, 21, Hyde Park; and Claude Rosier Jr., 20, Dorchester, were arrested Tuesday afternoon in Weymouth and charged with possession of a gun without a firearms ID card, possession of ammunition without a firearms ID card, defacing the serial number of a gun, threats to commit a crime, conspiracy, and witness intimidation.

Police allege that the three were involved in the making of a Facebook video aimed at a juvenile who lives in Weymouth. At 1 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report of a person waving a gun while inside a vehicle near the Weymouth Commons apartment complex. When officers located the vehicle, they found a loaded gun and a mason jar containing marijuana inside a bag in the backseat, according to a police report.

Michel allegedly admitted to police that he had the gun and he was messing around with the victim on Facebook Live. Michel can be seen telling the victim, "come out, stop hiding. I'm going to shoot you," police said after seeing the video.

Authorities believe that the three went to Weymouth to confront the victim. The victim's mom told authorities that her child has been harassed since the incident.

The victim told police that he was scared of retaliation.

A defense attorney said Bonner-Minus was in the front seat of the vehicle and has no reason to threaten anyone. Rosier's attorney said his client was in the backseat for no more than a minute and does not appear in the video.

All three were ordered held pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for April 28.
