Trump 2016 Graffiti Among Vandalism at Weymouth Playground
Wednesday, Mayor Hedlund posted photos of recent vandalism at a playground at Stella Tirrella Park.
WEYMOUTH, MA — Days after Mayor Robert Hedlund presented a plan to repair the town's playgrounds, parks, and ball fields. Vandals have apparently struck a playground.
Wednesday, Mayor Hedlund posted photos of recent vandalism at a playground at Stella Tirrella Park. Most of the graffiti appears to be random letters and numbers, a spray-painted name that appeared on some of the equipment, and "Trump 2016" on a climbing wall.
"Weymouth recently has made great strides in improving our parks and playgrounds and creating more recreational opportunities for our children However we are saddened to report that we have suffered from numerous acts of vandalism at a number of our park," Hedlund wrote on Facebook.
