Victim In Weymouth Crash ID'd As Plymouth Man
Nicholas P. Bjorkman, 33, of Plymouth, died from injuries sustained in a crash in the area of Route 18 near Route 3.

WEYMOUTH, MA — Police have released the name of the man who died in a serious crash Friday.
Nicholas P. Bjorkman, 33, of Plymouth, died from injuries sustained in a crash in the area of Route 18 near Route 3 known as Nash's Corner, according to reports.
At about 9:45 a.m., police received several 911 calls reporting a crash involving a motorcycle, a minivan, and a tractor-trailer truck on the Main Street portion of Route 18. The operator of the motorcycle, identified as Bjorkman suffered serious injuries and did not survive, according to the Weymouth Police Department.

The drivers of the truck and the minivan, a 47-year-old from Texas and 42-year-old from Avon, have not yet been charged and the investigation remains ongoing.
During the initial investigation, Route 18 was closed for hours.
