Weymouth Begins Search For Community Liaison

WEYMOUTH, MA — As Weymouth looks to shape a brighter future, the town is looking for help from the community.

The town is searching for five community liaisons who have a desire to get involved and help Weymouth thrive.

Community liaisons will work with residents and town staff to hear ideas, concerns and problems. They will also be tasked with identifying properties for future investment and creating community-driven projects.

The positions will run through September of next year.

The town says the role will require five to 15 hours per month and pay between $250 and $300.

To attract a diverse pool of applicants, the town wants to hear from residents of all backgrounds and experiences.
