Weymouth Business Holds Meat Raffle for WHS Tech Students
The fundraiser will help pay for four Weymouth students compete in the SKILLS USA National Skills & Leadership Conference in Kansas City.
Main Street Grille will be holding a meat raffle to help raise money for four Weymouth High School students who will be attending the 49th annual SKILLS USA National Skills & Leadership Conference in Kansas City next month.
The fundraiser will be held this Sunday, June 2 from 12-4 p.m. and will include live entertainment and a raffle.
All of the money raised will benefit WHS students Brianna Boidi, Sabina Khalid, Peter Newman, Dylan O'Brien who will compete at the national conference from June 24-28.

At the conference, the high school students will compete against 6,000 other technical education students from across the country in 98 different trade, technical and leadership fields.
The students will work against the clock and each other, proving their expertise in occupations such as electronics, computer-aided drafting, precision machining, medical assisting and culinary arts.

The Weymouth contestants will be helped by industry, trade associations, and labor organizations and will demonstrate skills including extemporaneous speaking and conducting meetings by parliamentary procedure.
SkillsUSA's mission is to empower its members to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens.
The four Weymouth students advanced to the National Conference by winning there state contest earlier this year.
