Weymouth Cupcake Baker To Receive 40 Under 40 Award

Victoria Donnelly of Weymouth has been selected as one of the recipients of Stars’ 2013 “40 Under 40 Awards.”.

Donnelly is the president of Cakeology, a cupcake business on Providence Street in Boston.

She was selected by a panel of local judges for the awards, which recognize 40 emerging South Shore leaders under the age of 40 for their professional accomplishments, civic engagement and demonstrated leadership potential, Stars announced.

In the past, Donnelly has won the Food Network's "Cupcake Wars" and has appeared in two of their TV episodes titled "LA Kings" and "The Tony Awards".  The Weymouth businesswoman has also appeared on the Food Network television show "Sweet Genius" and is currently expanding to a second, larger location in Boston's Downtown Crossing area by the Freedom Trail. 

Donnelly will receive hew  award at a gala tented reception and awards ceremony to be held September 27 at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy.
