Police say they have been aware of allegations made against Officer Jennifer Pompeo for almost two years. Police say state, local elder service agencies, and the police department have reviewed and investigated the resident’s allegations.
"None of these government or private agencies found or uncovered any wrongdoing by any Town employee, medical professional, or elder services advocate. The resident involved disagreed with our conclusions and has filed a lawsuit against the Town," police said on Facebook. "The Town Solicitor is aware of the lawsuit, will vigorously defend the Town, and will deny the allegations in court."
