The improper disposal of smoking materials is being cited as the cause of a Monday night fire in Weymouth.
At around 10:30 p.m., firefighters from Weymouth received a call for a second floor fire according to WATD. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the second story.
The four occupants of the home were able to safely leave the house. Damage to the house is estimated to be $75,000.
