2-Alarm Weymouth Fire Caused By Lightning Strike
Fire crews contained the fire on Rosemont Road Friday afternoon.

WEYMOUTH, MA – A lightning strike caused a two-alarm fire in Weymouth Friday afternoon. The fire began around 12:15 p.m. at 36 Rosemont Road and was upgraded to two alarms.
The Quincy and Rockland fire departments assisted in containing the blaze.
Reports say it was caused by a lightning strike, which has caused damage elsewhere in the area.
