Local children will get a few more Christmas gifts this week thanks to the kindness of a 9-year-old Weymouth girl.Earlier this week, a third grader from the Wessagussett School named Sivana made a large donation to Toys for Tots at the Weymouth Police Station. According to the police department's Facebook page, all the toys were gifts she recently received for her birthday.Run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, the Toys for Tots program distributes toys to children with parents who cannot afford to buy holiday gifts.Photo Credit: Weymouth Police Department
