Weymouth Level 3 Sex Offender Moves In

The Weymouth Police Department has announced that a level 3 sex offender has moved into the area.

WEYMOUTH, MA — The Weymouth Police Department has announced that a level 3 sex offender has moved into the area.

John Droz, 51, now resides at 33 K St., according to the state's Sex Offender Registry Board. In 1998, he was convicted of two counts of aggravated rape.

Droz is currently not wanted by police. Sex offender registration information shall not be used to commit a crime against an offender or engage in illegal discrimination or harassment of an offender. Any person who uses sex offender registration information for such purpose shall be punished by no more than two and one-half years in a house of correction, a fire of up to $1,000, or both. Any person who uses sex offender registration information to threaten to commit a crime may be punished by a fine up to $100.00 or by imprisonment for up to six months.
