Weymouth Looking to Add Parking and More to Emery Estate

The town is hoping to get a grant to pay for about 90 parking spots.

Weymouth, MA — The Town of Weymouth is hoping to obtain a grant to help pay for parking and more at Emery Estate.

The $400,000 state grant would be used to add about 90 spots, walking paths, restrooms, pedestrian access from Commercial and North streets, and a large pavilion for outdoor events, according to the Boston Globe.

The total cost of the improvements is between $1.2 million and $1.5 million.
