Weymouth Man Arrested Hours Before Court Appearance

Lamont Boswell, 32, was arrested in Brockton after allegedly fleeing Brockton police officers.

BROCKTON, MA — A Weymouth man who was due in court Wednesday had to enter in handcuffs instead of walking through the front door because he was arrested hours earlier.

Lamont Boswell, 32, was arrested in Brockton early Wednesday morning and charged with failing to stop for police, speeding, operating with a suspended license, marked lanes violation and a license place violation, according to the Enterprise.

At about 2:37 a.m., police approached a vehicle being operated by Boswell on North Ash Street. Officers say they allegedly saw the vehicle speed through the city and drive past a stop sign without stopping.
