Weymouth Man Charged With Murder In Boston Shooting

The 31-year-old is accused of fatally shooting a Roxbury man late last year.

WEYMOUTH, MA – A Weymouth man was arrested and charged with murder this week in connection with a fatal shooting in Boston late last year. Patrick Lys, 31, is accused of shooting 28-year-old Korey Wornum-Parker Nov. 18.

Police were called to Westmore Road in Mattapan shortly before 2 a.m. that day for a report of shots fired. Officers found Wornum-Parker, of Roxbury, with a life-threatening gunshot wound, according to a police statement.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
