Weymouth Man Charged in OUI Crash

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth man faces charges following an alleged drunken driving incident in town.

Brian Nash, 56, of 69 Bradley Road, Weymouth was arrested late Tuesday night and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation, according to the Patriot Ledger.

At 11 p.m., police responded to a report on a crash on Pleasant Street. Police say Nash allegedly crossed the middle line and struck another vehicle. The victim told police he drove in reverse in an attempt to avoid a crash.

Nash told police snow on his truck’s roof slid onto his windshield. He was taken into custody after allegedly failing multiple sobriety tests.
