Weymouth Man Charged With Snatching Purses in Quincy
Michael Horrigan, 45, faces charges in Quincy District Court.

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth man faces charges in connection to a series of unarmed robberies in Quincy.
Michael Horrigan, 45, was arrested Thursday by the Rhode Island State Police Department and charged with unarmed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. He will be returned to Massachusetts to face charges, police said.
On Sept. 26, the Quincy Police Department announced that they received three reports of unarmed robberies in North Quincy during the previous 10 days. In the incidents, Horrigan allegedly jumped out of his vehicle and demanded pocketbooks from women.

Horrigan has been in police custody since his arrest and will be arraigned in Quincy District Court.
