Weymouth Man Faces Charges Following Alleged Hit-and-Run

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth man faces charges following an alleged hit-and-run incident on Commercial Street.

Early Sunday morning, a 24-year-old struck two cars in a Commercial Street driveway, according to the Patriot Ledger. The driver, who has not been formally charged, will be receive a summons for leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage and a marked lanes violation.

The driver turned himself in hours later and told police that he panicked following the crash.
