Weymouth Man Finds Wedding Ring Missing for 26 Years
Keith Pantermoller found it while metal detecting in a field.

WEYMOUTH, MA — A woman who lost her wedding ring 26 years ago in Braintree is about to be reunited with the piece of jewelry thanks to a Weymouth man.
Elaine Fitzgerald told FOX25 that she lost her wedding band while playing softball in a field in Braintree only two weeks after marrying her late husband Barry. She thought the ring was long gone, that is, until Keith Pantermoller found it while metal detecting in the same field.
It took hours for Pantermoller to find the ring's rightful owner, typing in the names and date inscribed on the ring. He was able to send Fitzgerald a Facebook message after finding a video of her wedding on YouTube.
