WEYMOUTH, MA – Security officers at Logan Airport stopped a Weymouth man from bringing a loaded gun onto a flight Sunday, the TSA said. The .22-caliber handgun was loaded with 10 bullets, including one in the chamber, according to the agency.

State police confiscated the gun and detained the man, who was not publicly identified, for questioning. He was ultimately allowed to take the gun home and rebook his flight, the TSA said.

This is the fourth gun found at Logan Airport so far this year, the agency said. Three of the four guns were found over the last month.
