Weymouth Man Had Nearly 50 Child Porn Videos On Dropbox: Police

WEYMOUTH, MA – A Weymouth man arraigned on one count of child porn possession in January now faces an additional charge after more files were reportedly found on a Dropbox account. At the time of 22-year-old Mitchell Martinez's arrest, investigators sought information about a Dropbox account believed to be his, according to the Patriot Ledger.

Dropbox told investigators they found 285 explicit videos on the account, which was then sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. In late March, the NCMEC said it had identified 48 video files and one other file with known child victims on them, the Ledger reported.

Martinez was arraigned Wednesday. He will next appear in court on Aug. 8 and has been prohibited from contacting children under 18, leaving the state, using the internet and possessing pornographic material.
