The 32-year-old faces a number of gun charges stemming from the alleged incident in the parking lot of a Quincy restaurant.

QUINCY, MA – A Weymouth man faces weapons charges in Quincy after allegedly firing a shot during an altercation in the parking lot of a local bar. An officer on patrol responded to the Kelly's Cellar lot on Revere Road around 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning after seeing an altercation between two men.
As he made his way across the lot, one of the men allegedly fired a shot at the other. The officer drew his gun and ordered the man to drop his weapon and put his hands up, police said. The man initially ignored his commands but ducked down behind a parked car upon seeing the officer and turned around with his hands empty.
The man, later identified as 32-year-old Curtis Gordon, told police he worked at the restaurant and was ordered to the ground. A responding officer found the gun, a loaded Glock 27 .40-caliber pistol, on top of the passenger side rear tire of a car, according to police.
