Weymouth Man Hits On $1 Million Lottery Ticket

WEYMOUTH, MA — Despite 207,000 to one odds, a Weymouth man has struck gold, hitting for a $1 million on "The Fastest Road to $1 Million” instant ticket game.

Daniel Foley turned in the $1 million ticket Monday. He chose to collect the prize as a one-time payment and turned the $30 ticket into $650,000 after taxes.

Foley told the Mass Lottery he plans on using his winnings to pay off his mortgage and take a vacation in the spring.

The winning ticket was bought at a 7-Eleven in Weymouth, located at 425 Washington Street. The store will get $10,000 as a bonus for selling the winning ticket.
