Weymouth Man ID'd As Victim Of Fatal Rt. 3 Crash

The 26-year-old was thrown from his car when it went off the road Sunday morning.

WEYMOUTH, MA – A Weymouth man has been identified as the victim of a fatal single-car crash on Rt. 3 Sunday morning. William Mullen, 26, was thrown from his car when it went off the road between Exits 15 and 16, the Patriot Ledger reported.

He later died at South Shore Hospital.

Mullen, who played volleyball at Endicott College for three years, was an assistant coach for the Stonehill College women's volleyball team during the 2016 season, according to the athletic department at Stonehill. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves while attending Endicott and most recently worked as a substitute teacher in the Weymouth Public Schools.
