Weymouth Man Indicted for Alleged Assault, $2 Robbery

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth man has been indicted for allegedly punching a man and stealing $2 from him.

Jeremy Lentz is scheduled to be arraigned on Aug. 14. He will be charged with unarmed robbery and assault and battery, according to the Patriot Ledger. He is accused of an attempted robbery in Quincy Center.

Police say that Lentz approached a man near Mountain One Bank on the corner of Granite and Whitwell Streets and demanded money. After the victim gave him $2, Lentz allegedly punched the man and ran. He was located by police in front of a nearby TJ Maxx.
