Weymouth Man Named New CFO of Local Bank
Weymouth Bank choses a local man as its new CFO.
A Weymouth native has been appointed the new chief financial officer at Weymouth Bank after spending the last 15 years at State Street Bank.
Scott Ambroceo advanced from an entry level portfolio accountant to vice president at State Street in Quincy and Boston.
Now he will return home to work for a local bank in a town he knows very well. Ambroceo grew up in Weymouth and participated in the town’s youth sports leagues. At 22, he was elected a Weymouth Town Meeting member. After graduating from Weymouth High School, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bridgewater State University in 1998.
As the son of a small business owner, Ambroceo is passionate about supporting local businesses and is excited to have the opportunity to become professionally involved in the South Shore community through his role of CFO at Weymouth Bank.
