Weymouth Man Wins $1 Million Lottery Prize

Christopher MacKenzie of Weymouth is the twelfth $1 million prize winner in the state lottery's Supreme Millions game.

From the Massachusetts Lottery:

Christopher MacKenzie of Weymouth is the twelfth $1 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s $30 “Supreme Millions” instant game.

MacKenzie claimed his prize in the form of a one-time cash payment of $650,000, less taxes. He plans to use a portion of his winnings to take his father, who recently underwent heart surgery, on a vacation.

His winning ticket was purchased at Roche Bros., 101 Falls Blvd. in Quincy. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.

There are three $15 million prizes and fifty-four $1 million prizes remaining in the“Supreme Millions” instant game, which went on sale Tuesday, April 28. Ten additional $1 million prizes will be awarded in the game’s Second Chance Drawings. “Supreme Millions” is the Lottery’s second $30 instant ticket, joining“World Class Millions,” which launched in April of 2014.
