Weymouth Man Wins $2 Million Lottery Price

WEYMOUTH, MA — A Weymouth man is $2 million richer after buying the right lottery ticket.

Toby Phillips of Weymouth is the seventh $2 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” instant ticket game. He chose to collect his prize through 20 annual payments of $100,000, according to the Lottery.

He purchased his winning ticket at Weymouth Market, 784 Broad St. in East Weymouth. The store will receive a $20,000 bonus for its sale.

Three $2 million prizes and eight $1 million prizes remain in the game.
