Weymouth Marching Band Competes Against 10 Other Schools

Weymouth has home field advantage next Saturday during the state-wide marching band competition.

Weymouth High School will host a student marching band competition next Saturday featuring 11 bands from Cape Cod to the North Shore. 

At the event, Weymouth’s marching Band will compete against  Falmouth High School, Stoughton, Everett,  Bishop Hednricken, Bishop Feehan, Joseph Case, Shepherd Hill Regional, Somerset-Berkley Regional, and Oakmont-Overlook. 

The event will be organized by the New England Scholastic Band Association Marching Band Competition and will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Admission cost, $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, and children under 6 are free.

The event will include concessions, baked goods, raffles, t-shirts and awards
